Hands On Mission
What are Hands on Mission Sundays?
Each 3rd Sunday of the month, North Presbyterian dedicates this day to be a church outside the church walls with offsite mission. We also do an onsite mission opportunity as well on that day. Our goal is to really be a church that Knows Christ and Shows Christ!
We have put together snack bags, wrote birthday cards, worked on a domestic violence shelter, and much more.
We have had a great start to this year’s Hands on Mission. In January we made 400 sandwiches for The Sandwich Project. They feed 4500 people each week! Thank you to the 30+ people who helped out with making sandwiches.
In February, we will be participating in Cooks for Kids on February 18 from 9am-12:30pm. This program provides food for families who are sick at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul. We can only have 6-8 people participate. If we have more than that interested, we will add an additional site at Gillette Hospital in St. Paul. You MUST SIGN UP for this event. And we need you to keep your commitment if you do sign up. We are cooking for 35 people, visiting and eating and then cleaning up after. More details and logistics about the day will be provided to those that sign up. Sign up in the Gathering Space or contact Lisa for more information at 651-808-4226 or email@example.com
